I know, I know, I'm late this week. Story of my life! But, this week is so worth the wait! I've got Lenora Rand and Darren Calhoun, on again, to talk about music, art, body shame, religion, race, gender, and even some talk about Kellogg cereal...oh yeah, wait for it. The Many is an amazing indie group based here in Chicago. I finally get a chance to talk with at least two of its members. Drawing on indie pop and gospel influences, The Many makes music to help give voice to faith and doubt, questions and fears, laments and longings, music that speaks to a non-violent God, a Jesus who is with us and for us, and to a Spirit that can't be easily defined or controlled. Yeah. Great stuff. Check it out!
A podcast that engages faith, on the margins. Faith that has been labeled, profane, non-conformist, and/ or “out there.” We’ll be exploring the intersections of the sacred, secular, and profane to find God. Profane Faith is a Dauntless Media Collective podcast. Visit dauntless.fm for more content.
